How Writers are like Lord Voldermort.

Yes you read correctly. He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named. This handsome devil right here.

I say it because I have spent the past couple of weeks off from writing so I can get to know my characters better. What it found out is that you can't put your characters into situations if you don't know how they are going to react to them. Hence the character-writer bonding process, which is fairly easy, and I will talk about that a different time.

Writers are like You-Know-who because we make horcruxs.

Creating characters is like creating a horcrux. We split out souls into many parts and bind them to our characters. And if our stories can pass the test of time. Our souls will never die.

None of my characters are one hundred percent me. All of the characters are parts of me, the loner,
the fighter, the saint, the princess, the back stabber, and the loyal friend.

My characters are everything I ever dreamed to be and everything I am afraid to admit that I am. But characters still have a mind of their own, they are their own people. Just because someone in one of my novels would carve out someone's heart (Spoilers??) doesn't mean that I
would. I can barley make it through the walking dead.
